Revitacil™ does NOT contain DMDM Hydrantoin!

Unlike Strivectin SD™, Revitacil™ is especially formulated to avoid using DMDM Hydrantoin, which is known as a formaldehyde donor.  Why is this important?  According to the Mayo Clinic, formaldehyde can irritate the respiratory system, cause skin reactions and trigger heart palpitations. Exposure to formaldehyde may cause joint pain, allergies, depression, headaches, chest pains, ear infections, chronic fatigue, dizziness, and loss of sleep. It can also aggravate coughs and colds, and trigger asthma. Other possible side effects include weakening the immune system and cancer.

Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide- 3 is a peptide that mimics DHEA in the skin. It is a powerful anti-inflammatory that helps speed tissue regeneration resulting in normalization of damaged skin.  Skin looks and “acts” younger with new strength against aging environmental damage including sun damage.

Carbomer is simply used to thicken the product.  While it does not provide any skin benefits of its own, it is necessary for the Revitacil's consistency to be correct, and there are no known side effects.

Polysorbate-16 is a very mild and toning agent that is non-irritating.

Cetearth-20 is a vegetable based a surfectant and emulsifier.

Barbadenise Leaf Juice (Aloe Extract) helps the skin retain moisture that is normally lost to the sun and environment.

Rose Marinus Officinalis (Rosemary Extract) is used for its tonic properties and as a stimulant to the tissues. A natural diuretic, rosemary extract helps to release fluids from the tissues and gives a firming and decongestant action.

Sambubus Nigra Flower (Elder Extract) helps the skin flourish with its antifungal and antibacterial qualities.

Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber Extract) is high in potassium, silicon, sulphur and other minerals said to rejuvenate cells promoting healthy hair growth.  A natural emollient with softening and soothing properties.

Equisetum Arvenes (Horse Tail Extract) contains silica and Vitamin C, both of which are good for the skin and nails.

Tea Tree Oil is a well-known natural ingredient that supports healthy skin through its major active component terpinen-4-ol, which has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties.

Polyacrylamide C13-14 Isoparafin Laurth-7 is used as a thickening agent to make Revitacil the correct consistency.

Allantoin promotes wound healing, speeds up cell regeneration, and has a keratolytic (skin-softening) effect.

Disodium EDTA is used as a stabilizer to keep Revitacil from losing its effectiveness over time.  There are no known adverse effects from using this ingredient in cosmetic applications.

Hedera Helix (Ivy Extract) helps to reduce the appearance of "orange peel" skin and to decongest fat cells.

Aesculus hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut Extract)is widely used in skin products because it promotes healthy venous circulation.

Biopeptide-CL is a synthetic protein that is a fragment of collagen combined with palmitic acid to make it more lipophillic, to improve its stability and to enhance its affinity towards human skin.  Biopeptide-CL was developed through research to identify a substance that would behave similarly to retinoic acid but without its drawbacks, especially in regards to synthesizing collagen
